Born and raised in Ankeny Iowa, Nicole has witnessed the Des Moines area become a sought after place to put down roots. It’s what brought her back from Missouri State after college, where she graduated with a degree in mathematics.
Her interest in home design began at a young age with design software as a Christmas gift. Married to a man with a lot of construction experience, together they have designed and built several homes. Selling them on her own (because she wasn’t willing to give up the typical 6-7% to a realtor) has given her first-hand knowledge of what the experience should be like for a buyer and seller.
Her past work experience includes 4 years at Principal in Retirement Actuarial Services, a few years staying home with babies, and the last 5 years working for her church. From Nursery/Preschool Director to Communications Director, Nicole is passionate about helping others.
Her rare combination of design and home-building experience, analytical skills and desire to help people makes Nicole the go-to source for all your real estate needs.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys anything outdoors with her husband and two young boys, family movie nights, running, and reading.
